Monica was never an employee of the White House. She was an unpaid White House intern. 69.42.2.6 (talk) 18:05, 5 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. - FlightTime (open channel) 18:06, 5 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Father

[edit]

Her page: Her father is Bernard Lewinsky, an oncologist, who is the son of German Jews who escaped from Nazi Germany and moved to El Salvador. Her father's page: Lewinsky's parents, Susi and George Lewinsky, were German Jews who left Germany in the 1920s, and settled in El Salvador.

So his parents escaped from Nazi Germany in the 1920s? Oh boy, but escaping from Nazi Germany is always a good story.

Edit

[edit]

The opening paragraph actually says Clinton admitted to having an affair. I think it should say he "eventually" admitted to having an affair.... Leeingeorgia2024 (talk) 14:09, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Lede is plain wrong

[edit]

Check this particular edit [1].

Yet, the timeline was as follows:

  • January 21, 1998: the Washington Post publishes an article about Lewinsky
  • From January 21, 1998: zillions of articles are published about Lewinsky the world over
  • August 17, 1998: Clinton testifies (via videotape) before a grand jury

Also, do you really want to begin Wikipedia articles with such meaningless statements as "X is internationally known"? Truc Bizarre (talk) 05:42, 10 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Truc Bizarre, the lede is incorrect now, as you point out. The previous version included "gained international celebrity status" which isn't optimal either. Do you have a suggestion for a full re-write of the first paragraph? Commander Keane (talk) 08:31, 10 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
